The 2005 NoRouz festival began what we hope will become a tradition for future programs. An art contest was held and Iranian children were asked to submit what they feel NoRouz means to them. Once the winners were selected by the marketing/Advertising team, elements of each work was selected for inclusion in the promotional poster displayed in stores, and retail outlets all around the Bay Area. This year's winners come from the Dehkhoda Farsi Language School in Campbell California. A certificate of appreciation $20 gift card to Michael's Art Supply (kindly donated by Mrs. Mehri Okhravi-Jamali of San Ramon) was awarded to each of this year's winners.
